Building to withstand natures’ mighty powers-storms, floods, heat, cold and gravity-builders, throughout history, have served us well. Building evolved more than 5,000 years ago. From piled stones to steel skyscrapers, and as builders enthusiastically cross the line between utility and art, the results are often beautiful soaring forms or immense abstract sculptures.
Great building achievements evoke strong responses because they give us something we never had before. Many are great monuments, strong against the sky; others serve us in less conspicuous ways but are no less remarkable. Every structure is a crucial factor in the web of civilized life, every one contributes to making something happen.
Building is essentially a social endeavor, making life more manageable as life becomes more complicated. And, in the final analysis, building is what Fortunato does best.

This Website is dedicated to the tradition of excellence that has guided four generations of the Fortunato family. It is also dedicated to our clients, without whom this work would not have been possible. The projects you are about to review are meant to serve as an historical representation, outlining the contributions Fortunato is proud to have made to the quality of life throughout the Northeastern United States.
