The Fortunato Organization is a family owned, award winning general construction and real estate development company. Originally established in Bronx, New York and currently located on Long Island, New York, Fortunato performs general construction, construction management, design/build complete turnkey services, real estate development, and management services for clients on Long Island and throughout the northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. Fortunato’s commitment to excellence and pride in workmanship has been the hallmark of the company’s success.
Our capabilities span a large range of disciplines and types of construction. While our main focus and forte include the development and construction of research and laboratory facilities, transportation and infrastructure projects, educational facilities K through 12, colleges and universities, environmental protection and waste water treatment plants, aerospace and defense industry and fossil fuel/nuclear power stations; our storied history include the major construction of numerous judicial facilities, financial institutions, sports arenas and exposition buildings, religious complexes, business development parks, healthcare and hospital facilities, performing arts venues.
In addition to construction, we are an award winning Real Estate Developer and Management company, which constructs and leases commercial office, industrial and research and development space. Our professional staff of dedicated, hardworking, talented people, engineers, and architects can take your ideas and turn your dreams into the reality of "bricks and mortar" or we can provide you with very competitive bidding, either for your construction project needs or for your leasing requirements.
